The Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills look different then the teams have in the past decade. Both teams are undefeated and have been very competitive against legitimate opponents. Detroit trailed 20-0 at the halfthis past Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings and the Bills trailed 21-0 at the half against the New England Patriots. Both teams fought they're way back into the game during the second half and were able to defeat their division rivals. This great start by these minimum salary cap teams is really going to boost their sales in all areas of the business. Ticket sales, apparel, jerseys and overall media of these teams will only increase If they continue to suceed. Most sport spectators, analysis and fans of the NFL are amazed by the performances of these two teams and I feel like only more people will begin to cheer on these underdogs.
I am very glad to see the Lions and Bills to be 3-0, but it is only week three. Hopefully these teams will continue to do well and win their divisions. I agree that their 3-0 start will boost sales for the organizations and hopefully they continue to win!
ReplyDeleteI think its great seeing these two teams really bust out and show what they can do! But I agree with Brian, it is only week 3. I hope we are wrong as it would be great to see them go far after the years of misery from season to season. Fitzpatrick has really taken the leadership role for the Bills and there defense is playing awesome! To shut down Tom Brady and the Patriots is huge, but to rub it is with those interceptions was just perfection! As for Detroit, I'm excited for them because they have great guys on both offense as well as defense like Calvin Johnson or Stafford, they should be alright for this season!
ReplyDeleteTalking about sales I agree, tickets, jerseys, everything will start booming with these first 3 games along with the rest of the season drawing out more fans to go to the games as well as just buy stuff to support their team.
